Christoph Rau has been part of the SPH team as Sales Manager since 1 November 2024. With over 15 years of experience in renewable and innovative energy technologies, Christoph brings a wealth of expertise – and a clear vision: he wants to help companies decarbonise their process heat with the ThermBooster™, our high-temperature industrial heat pump, and inspire them to take a step towards a sustainable future.
His expertise in system analysis and simulation enables him to quickly understand customer processes and needs and to identify customised technical solutions for decarbonisation. As an experienced planner and consultant, he is characterised by a customer-oriented perspective that takes all project-relevant aspects into account – be they technical, legal, subsidy-related, time-related or economic in nature. As a product manager in technology companies, he has not only optimised internal processes, but also ensured that customer projects were implemented efficiently and successfully.
“In my previous work, I have experienced first-hand what it means to transform a company from a traditional manufacturer to an innovative provider of sustainable technologies – and to support customers in their own transformation. That's why I see myself as a contact person and problem solver from the first contact in sales through to service,” says Christoph, describing his approach.
To balance out his work, Christoph plays the trumpet in a trombone choir and brass band – and is passionate about using the table football in the SPH break room!
